Performance
Some of the specs in the 2027 Seltos are similar to those of the 2026 model year. For example, the standard 2.0L 4-cylinder engine is returning for this Kia model. It generates 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s paired with a standard Intelligent Variable Transmission, a system that allows gears to shift seamlessly while you’re driving along Kennedy Expressway. You’ll also have a standard FWD system, which provides reliable traction on most streets in the area. Or, you can choose a trim level with an available 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, which kicks out 190 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. An available 8-speed automatic transmission is next to the turbo powertrain, as well as an AWD configuration. With these specs, you’ll have smooth gear transitions while accelerating and strong grip strength on roads affected by inclement weather. All iterations of the Seltos come with Drive Mode Selection, which has Normal, Sport, and Custom settings.
Exterior Features
Do you notice something different about the 2027 Kia Seltos? The makers at Kia made this subcompact SUV bolder than ever before. Rectangular edges are on each end of this SUV, which is a pleasant change for those who prefer a more rugged look. The standard galvanized steel panels are complemented by black active shutter-style grilles and bold rocker panels along the character line. There will be standard 16-inch alloy wheels with a dark gray finish, but higher trim levels are expected to have available 18- and 19-inch alternatives. To help you see at night, Kia installed standard LED Multi-Focus Reflector headlamps. Higher iterations have available LED fog lights as well, allowing you to see through those murky mornings on highways and streets by the lake. Interior Features
Do you like the idea of sitting against a seat upholstered in standard cloth-trimmed material? Perhaps you’d like to try a Kia Seltos with available SynTex seats.
